Mobile Number Portability Time Period?MNP time Period?

Here is how the time frame works for MNP (Mobile Number Portability):
1. Time by which the mobile network company will revert in response to your MNP request: 7 days
2. . Times taken for porting the number: 48 hours or 2 business days
3.  After the porting is done, the number will be switched off for an hour
4.   The subscriber had to be with the new mobile service provider for 90 days a lock-in period.
5. The customer can reconsider and cancel MNP request within 24 hours of application submission

Mobile Number Portability Restrictions and Limitations:

The only restriction is that you can change your operator without changing your number only within your current service area.

Suppose a subscriber, who is using a Mumbai number, can not switch to an operator in Bangalore. The subscriber can only change his/her operator within Mumbai only
